Hello everyone,
Before I start this blog, I would like to thank each and every one of you that come here and see my images. I have great pride in them; even though they may not be all great shots, each of them got into one of my portfolio galleries for a reason. They are there today because I thought that it would be a good idea to share them with you. Over time, as my skills as a photographer and my taste in photography itself improve, so will the portfolio galleries. Hopefully they will, in time, allow you to be a witness of my evolution as a photographer, crafter of interesting images.
Another point I would like to clarify is why this website and blog is all in English, and not in my first language, Portuguese. The reason is reach. As much as I would like to, if had this site in Portuguese, many of my friends here in Canada and around the world would not be able to see and understand the stories I would like to share. Hopefully this won’t be a deterrent, but rather function as a stimulus for my dear friends in Brazil to work on their language skills. Also, it helps me sharpen my own English proficiency. And since I’m now talking about my own skills, let me apologize in advance to my English-speaking friends for the occasions that will inevitably come, where I will seem to nonchalantly butcher your grammar or sentence structure as I try to write my posts. Please, bear with me and forgive my mistakes.
I don’t know where this journey will lead me but I’m excited to start it now, to start it this way. It’s great to have you as my companions.
